What is your booking + cancellation policy? 

IN ORDER TO SERVE OUR GUIDES WE TAKE OUR CANCELLATION POLICY SERIOUSLY. To reserve dates with Bozeman Fishing Lodge & Outfitters we require 50% deposit in order to book guides. The deposit is refundable if your reservation is cancelled before 60 days prior to the date of your reservation. The remainder of the balance is due at the time of your trip. You may also pay the entire balance now in which case, if cancelled, you would receive 100% back if cancelled before 60 days prior to your reservation and 50% would be returned after 60 days prior to your reservation. If a trip is cancelled within 30 days of your trip, 100% of payment would be forfeited. In order to serve our guides, we take our cancellation policy seriously. 

What if the weather is going to be bad? 

Unfortunately, we cannot control the weather. If the client cancels due to weather, 100% of their payment would be forfeited. If the guide cancels due to poor weather, we will refund you 100%.  

What time of year is Bozeman Fishing Lodge is open? 

We are open mid April until late October.

How can I purchase my fishing license? 

It's easiest to purchase your license online by following the link to Montana FWP. If you don't purchase your license online you're able to get it once you've arrived in Montana at one of our local fly shops. Our guides are happy to take you to purchase a license before head out on the water. 

How much should I tip my guide each day? 

Gratuity for your guides is not included nor is it required but it is certainly an appropriate and appreciated gesture. $100 - $150 per guide per day will make your guide feel very appreciated and valued. At Bozeman Fishing Lodge we work with the most skilled and most professional guides to make sure your day on the water is both safe and fun. 

Can we rent waders/wading boots? 

We have many different sizes of Simms waders and wading boots Just let us know your size and we can most likely meet your needs. 

How should I get from the airport to the lodge?

The lodge is just 15-20 minutes from the airport. Bozeman has both taxis as well as Uber. You are welcome to rent a car. If you do so we recommend Explore Rentals, who have excellent service. The lodge also provides free airport transportation for up to 4 guests. Feel free to talk with us before arranging airport transportation.
